Traversing the land became pretty boring for me about 4 hours in, as the actual evolution or traversal mechanics don't change. The gameplay consists of traversing the land, solving puzzles and discovering the history of the pathless and the lost kingdom that ones was. The character and the eagle become buddies over the course of the game, and you as the player also begin building quite a connection with the animal and towards the last act you realize how strong that bond really is.
There are animals roaming the far stretches and especially your companion, an eagle, whom you meet very early on, is a big part of your journey. The world might seem empty, and you will discover the reason for that, but you are not alone.
Its vibrant but it has this mystique all over it, and I found myself taking pictures using the capture button on the controller as particularly green, red and blue colors collided in beautiful mashup. The immediate visual representation of this game is astonishingly gorgeous, which you will immediately notice laying your eyes upon the land.
